Quiner, originally printed in 1856 by order of the Watertown City Council; a history of Watertown, originally published in the 1872 Watertown City Directory; Geschichte von Watertown, a history of Watertown by Henry E. Colonius, originally published (in German) in Der Weltbuerger beginning on Sept. 26, 1868 - this article translated by Charles J. Wallman; an article on early Watertown by C. NotesPublished a second time in the Watertown Daily Times, Nov. 3 to Dec. 1, 1986. The newspaper cuttings are to be found under the same number in the pamphlet file and also an additional photocopy of the articles from Aug. 26 to Dec. 31, 1986 (both complement each other). The newspaper articles published in 1986 in the Watertown Daily Times are entitled "Pioneer memoirs of early Watertown."
