AbstractExamines and questions the assumption that the Georgia Salzburgers were always anti-slavery. The Georgia Salzburgers were a small part of the many Lutherans expelled from Roman Catholic Archbishopric of Salzburg in 1731, arriving in Georgia as of 1734.
