AbstractKloss' article critiques Sanders' book "The Nazi Movement in the U.S. 1925-1941" for being unscholarly, incomplete and misleading ("slandering") re the Deutsches Auslandinstitut (DAI), for which Kloss worked. Kloss counters with his understanding of the history of the DAI and a defense of his own work at the Institute.
