AbstractBiography of Otto Kerl; description of his pioneer adventures in detail from May 17th, 1905 until January 19th, 1906. Kerl came to America in 1847 from Langensalza, Saxony, at the age of 25. Describes his trip from New York City to Milwaukee, and from there to the town of Berry in Dane County. "For more than half a century he practiced the homeopathic method of cure, which he learned in Germany, for the benefit of his fellow men."
