AbstractA summary of a presentation given by Annette Burgert at the German Genealogy Society's 2002 Spring Conference: "Over 30,000 Germans immigrated to Pennsylvania in the eighteenth century. Many came from northern Switzerland. These Swiss first settled in Alsace, Kraichgau, Odenwald, or the Palatinate before leaving for America."
