AbstractKrenz emigrated from Pomerania in 1854 and bought a farm in the Town of Berlin, Wisconsin. He was drafted into the Union Army on September 22, 1864, serving in the Third Regiment of the Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry. This letter was written November 12, 1864, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
