AbstractA farmstead property in Rhinebeck, New York, is being restored and interpreted to highlight the story of Palatine settlement in that state. The first building known to have occupied the site is pictured on a map of the area, c. 1750. The Farmstead is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Neher-Elseffer-Losee house, and it has remained in the possession of successive generations of one family throughout the centuries.
