AbstractProfile of Fred Kessler, the son of German immigrants. In 1961, at the age of 21, Kessler was sworn in as the youngest person then ever elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly. He served four additional terms in the Assembly, went on to become a Wisconsin Circuit Judge and later a labor arbitrator, and in 2005 was sworn in for his sixth term in the legislature.
