AbstractProvides a picture of life in a small German village in Baden-Wuerttemberg over time. The family of the editor's father, surname Lutz, immigrated to the U.S. from Sersheim, a village northwest of Stuttgart in 1853. This translation of a book originally published in German in 1992, contains many references to four family lines: Lutz, Mueller, Glueck, and Kurfiss.
