AbstractHistorical novel based on a true story of Johannes Kelpius, a mystic philosopher born in Siebenburgen, Transylvania, Germany, in 1673. In 1694 Kelpius and several other followers of a mystical faith arrived in America and established themselves in Pennsylvania. Kelpius died in Roxborough, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1708.
