AbstractGus F. Urbankte served as supervisor of the school from 1913 to 1919. Urbantke was born in 1870 at Industry, Austin County, Texas, the son of an Austrian immigrant. Gus's brother, Karl, was one of the founders of Blinn College in Brenham.
