AbstractArticles recapping events of the 2015 SGAS Annual Symposium in St. Louis. Presenter Guy Stern escaped from Nazi Germany to St. Louis in 1937 at age 15; he worked as a military interrogator during and after World War II; became a distinguished German scholar, and is director of the Zekelman International institute of the Righteous at the Holocaust Memorial Center near Detroit, MI. President Walter Kamphoefner details the many distinguished contributions Kathleen Neils Conzen has made to the German-American studies and other areas.
