AbstractAbraham Jacobi, holder of the first chair of pediatrics in the USA, and Carl Schurz lived as next-door neighbors at Bolton Landing on Lake George, New York. A bench in honor of Schurz and a plaque on honor of Jacobi honor the two German-Americans and were dedicated in this ceremony.
