AbstractA sympathizer with the Nazi regime, Hauser nonetheless emigrated to the United States in 1939 and published The German Talks Back shortly before Germany capitulated, wanting to express his dissatisfaction with the US and his reason for returning to Germany, which he did in 1948. Afterwards he wrote for Stern magazine, published books, and collaborated in the Economic Miracle particularly as it pertained to the manufacture of Opel automobiles.
