AbstractEngelhardt Riemenschneider (1815-99) was one of the founding fathers of German Methodism in America. He served as a circuit rider and then as a pastor of various churches in the Ohio Valley, including the mother church of German Methodism ... He later served as a German Methodist missionary in Germany and Switzerland, where he established Methodist congregations.
