MKI AnnotationKrauss, E. A. Wilh. (Eugen Adolf Wilhelm), June 4, 1851–October 9, 1924. Born in Nördlingen, Bavaria, educated in Erlangen and Leiplzig. Came to the United States in 1873. Pastor in Cedarburg, Wisconsin (Missouri Synod), 1874. Returned to Germany to serve a Free Congregation at Sperlingshof, Baden, 1875. Returned to the US, rejoined the Missouri Synod. Director of the Ev.-Luth. Teachers Seminar, Addison, Illinois, 1880–1905; professor at Concordia Seminar, St. Louis, Missouri, 1905–1924.
