She and her siblings attended St. Anthony (Catholic) School in a German/Luxembourgian community on the Stearns Co./Meeker Co. border in the town of Watkins, MN. Their father was born in Limburg, Holland and their mother in Consdorf, Luxembourg. The family moved to Pierz, Morrison Co., MN and the children attended St. Joseph's (Catholic) School and could have used the books there, also. |
