Returned to Switzerland in 1893 and visited his sister in Bucharest where he worked for 2 years as a bank employee with his brother-in-law. 1895 in Switzerland, 1896 in Wisconsin where he co-edited the Green County Herold. 1901 employed in cheese industry, 1907 owner of a cheese factory in Chicago which he built into a prosperous business.
