AbstractFriedrich Baltzer (pseudonym Fridolin), born 1860 in Warren County, Pa., died after Nov. 1925. Many of his poems appeared in the Milwaukee Sonntagspost. Pastor in Nashville, Ill. and St. Louis.

On title page: Verfasser von "Welke Blaetter," Gedichtsammlung -- "Immergruen," Prosa und Dichtung -- "Asa Kahabka," Erzaehlung -- "Frank Gruber" [und] "Ein Unglueckskind," Erzaehlungen. At end of book is a reproduced letter in the old German script from Richard Bartholdt to Baltzer, written from St. Louis on 16 May 1915; a review of Gedichte von Friedrich Baltzer; and reviews of Immergruen and Welke Blatter.
