His writings appeared in several German-American newspapers, magazines, and collections. Worked for Best Brewing Co. (Milw.) under assumed name. Many of his poems have been set to music by well-known composers. Resided for several years in Atlantic City. Died of heart attack while riding on train. Buried in New York. |
