From Ward, Bio-Bibliography, 1985: Born in Thueringen. Had only a grade school education, grew up in poverty. Emig. to Plymouth, Wis. Her poems are chiefly religious. ---- Two copies. Second copy donated by Prof. David M. Gosdeck, Martin Luther College Library, New Ulm, MN. On title page of second copy the death date 1914 is written. Online research indicates Anna Voigt was born about 1827 in Saxe Meimar and died either 1914 or 1915.
