AbstractThis book describes the history and genealogy of the Ringwalds of Chillicothe, Ohio, and their connections with the Ringwalds of Baden, Germany. . . . The first recorded Ringwald immigration to Chillicothe was that of Andreas Ringwald, who with his son-in-law Alexander Santo purchased in 1836 part of the land that later became the Ringwald farmstead in Springfield Towsnhip. Andreas immigrated from the village of Wagenstadt, . . . a small village in southern Baden, near Herbolzheim.
