AbstractAndreas Friedrich Christoph Clausing (b. 1800), son of Andreas/Bernd Clausing and Dorothea Lossmannin, married Susanna Maria Dorothea Hofmann and immigrated in 1846 from Schoenewerda, Germany to Mequon, Wisconsin. Descendants and relatives lived in Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Michigan, Washington and elsewhere. Includes Elzig, Haas, Homan, Meyer, Vocke, Wulff and related families. Includes some ancestry and family history in Germany.
