AbstractAutobiography of the Rev. John August Schlichting, a pastor in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. He was born in Gillford Township, Wabasha County, Minnesota, on 27 February 1885. In October 1894, his parents took him and his four siblings to farm near the village of Jacksonville, Guilford Township, Oregon. He attended seminary in Springfield, Illinois. He and his wife lived in Pasadena, California, for many years. He died 2 February 1968 in San Diego County, California.
