AbstractThe Kilian family is traced to Nieder-Ramstadt in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district of Hesse, Germany. Adam Kilian came to America in August 1847 and came to own land in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Peter Kilian and Eva Werz immigrated in January 1854 and settled in Milwaukee; they were married in April 1854.
