| Abstract | "The high number of immigrants [over 600 people] from a relatively small village like Weprowatz, population 3158 in 1931, is astounding. The first large migration to America came at the beginning of the 20th century (1903-1907) and was followed by a further migration in the post WWI period until the expulsion and flight after the second World War." Includes a list of 270 families and individuals that emigrated to America, and 12 names of emigrants with unknown fates. |
