AbstractEmigration from Prussia was arranged in 1838 by the Reverend Leberecht Friedrich Ehregott Krause (1804-1885), who selected Buffalo, New York, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as settlement locations. This article discusses the preparations made in Prussia by the Lutherans under Heinrich Carl Georg von Rohr (1797-1874).
