AbstractIII. Feuerwind. Father Xaverius writes a letter to his mother, and asks Feuerwind to get it to Quebec, where it can be mailed to Europe. Feuerwind takes it to his friend, Jaques Remeny. "Langst schon war Jaques auf seinem Weg nach Quebec; Feuerwind war zurueckgekommen, wie er waehnte, unbemerkt in's Dorf." But Feuerwind learns that a warrior named Spotted Eagle had asked Xaverius about Feuerwind's whereabouts. [To be continued.]
