| Abstract | Renata Regina Rabe married Erdman Rathke in 1846; they lived in Rosenberg in the Grunau district until about 1862 when they and other families moved to another Rosenberg village in Zurichthal, Crimea. The Rathkes arrived in America in 1877 from Russia, and settled in South Dakota. By 1890, many of the Rathke familes moved to California. Before 1900 many of them moved to Lyon County in Kansas. |
