Abstract | Author investigates the history of the Weidemeyer family of Ziegenhain, Grossropperhausen, and Neukirchen, Hesse, members of which settled in Baltimore and Baltimore County, Maryland. Also provides information on Greninger family members, who emigrated from the Palatinate to Pennsylvania. Among the several details on family members: Henry Noah Greninger (1844-1916) served in the 57th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment during the Civil War, and later served Salem Evangelical Church in Hebbville, Maryland, where he retired until his death. |
