Abstract“It was providence that I met Dawn on a train where she and a friend were heading to Montana. She would be babysitting for children whose parents were invited to an Apologetic Conference in Zurich, Switzerland. The conference was to apologize for the atrocities committed by the state-church on breakaway Catholics in the 1525 Protestant Reformation period; these breakaways became known at the time as the Anabaptists. . . . [Her] letters revealed a unique insight into this breakaway group from the Amish. . . [Names] have been altered throughout.”
