| Abstract | Jacob Amos was born in 1824 in Hesse-Darmdtadt, married Elizabeth Siebenthaler in 1852 in Franklin County, Indiana, and served in the Union Army during the Civil War. He was buried in Elmhurst Cemetery, St. Paul, in 1889. It was determined that the family came from Medard, Germany. |
